According to rumors, Apple is readying an October event. The company will focus on the new iPad, Macs, and their upcoming operating systems: iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura. So far, we know what we are talking about.
It has been a while since Holy Swift reported that Apple was working on a new iPad. The company is preparing a number of new Macs for release in 2022. Mark Gurman gave a few tidbits on what he expects to see from Apple in a couple of months.
Apple to introduce new iPad Pro at its October event
In the August newsletter, Gurman says he would expect a new iPad Pro with an M2 processor. Apple is planning to bring the MagSafe connection to the iPad Pro with miniLED technology and the 11-inch version of the iPad Pro.
A better battery life with new accessories could also be on the way for this product. All eyes are on the new iPad Pro at this rumored October event, just like the iPhone 14 will be the star of the event.
Apple is working on improvements to its cheaper iPad. According to information seen the new 10th-generation iPad will not have a Lightning port. This means that Apple is going to make the entire iPad lineup compatible with usb-c.
Entry-level iPad users will be able to connect it to more modern external displays with the help of the new usb-c technology. According to our sources, the new entry-level iPad will have the same display resolution as the iPad Air. We can expect a slight increase in screen size to between 10 and 11 inches. More modern display specifications such as a wide color gamut and higher brightness will be exclusive to the more expensive iPads.
Gurman corroborates and says that the tablet will have a chip. An October event could be the perfect time for Apple to introduce this device.
New M2 Macs are coming at the Apple October Event
Gurman writes in the newsletter.
Apple has been working on M2-based versions of the Mac mini, Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, so I think we’re likely to see at least a pair of those machines about two months from now.
There are rumors about computers. Apple said it was working on a new Mac pro. The next-gen 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros could be announced in the fall of 2022, and spring of 2023 with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors.
A second-generation Apple Mac mini is expected to be released in a year or two. Since Apple introduced the Mac Studio, it’s unclear what kind of processor a new Mac mini would have, only the M2 or a more powerful variant.
The company has scheduled the release of iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura to all users in October, most likely after the rumored event in September.
Stage Manager is the most important feature in both iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura. You can do this with the function.
- Resizable windows: Resize your windows to make them the perfect size for your task;
- Center app: Focus on the app you’re working with without going full screen;
- Fast access to windows and apps: The windows of the apps you’re working in are displayed prominently in the center, and other apps are arranged on the left side in order of recent use;
- Overlapping windows: Create overlapping windows of different sizes in a single view, giving you the control to arrange your ideal workspace;
- Group apps together: Drag and drop windows from the side or open apps from the Dock to create app sets you can always get back to.
